Just your friendly reminder for this comic's "Kickstarter for Volume 2.":http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1304700212/dubious-company-volume-2 We've updated the cover art (now in color).

Also, we're juuuust shy of the final stretch goal. So if any of you are juuuust shy about backing us, now's the time to do it.

Regardless thanks for your support. "Dubious Company Volume 2":http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1304700212/dubious-company-volume-2 is going to be awesome!

Aaaaa! I Can't Think of a Title!

Okay, first off, WOW! Thanks guys! Seriously, I've been sick for a few days, but I just checked up on the "Kickstarter for Volume 2":http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1304700212/dubious-company-volume-2 and we completely blew past the book cover (which are not dust jackets, feel free to ask me about them) stretch goal. In fact, since posting the new goal (4200 - DBC themed calenders) we've already come within spitting distance. I'm in awe. Though, I'm sure more than a few of you would like to see "DBC Theme Calenders.":http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1304700212/dubious-company-volume-2

In other news, I don't normally do this, but a friend of mine showed me this game he had a hand in making. It's called "Cognition":http://www.postudios.com/cognition/ and I'm actually really excited about it. Couple of reasons. One, the art just looks badass, that's a plus for me right there. Two, it's a point and click adventure game. I LOVED point and click adventure games when I was younger. And say what you will about the obtuse puzzles, a good point and click (for me) had way more substance than any of the infinite brown shooters out today. Three, I'm sure it's a good game cause they had one of the guys who wrote Gabriel Knight work on this game (if you don't know Gabriel Knight, look it up at gog.com). At any rate, they need a bit of help getting "greenlighted at steam.":http://tinyurl.com/cogsteam

Otherwise yes. Thanks everyone for your continued support of "Dubious Company Volume 2":http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1304700212/dubious-company-volume-2 and see if you can through a little support at "Cognition":http://tinyurl.com/cogsteam

One More Thing

More "Kickstarter":http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1304700212/dubious-company-volume-2 updates. In order to reach the promised 200+ pages Tria and I have decided to include a deleted plot-line. This is a "gender-swap" plot-line that we had to remove due to space, timing, and pacing considerations. Well "Volume 2":http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1304700212/dubious-company-volume-2 will include this removed plot-line. It will be at the end of the volume as an extra side-story (we've already written the main plot as if it didn't happen, so we can't really add it back into canon). Think of it as a DVD extra, if we made DVDs.

Anyway, that's it for the update. Great job so far with the "Volume 2 Kickstarter":http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1304700212/dubious-company-volume-2 and there's still plenty of time left to back us. And if you don't, don't worry, just keep reading the comic, we'll make sure you have a good time!

More Updates from the Kickstarter

Hey all, just letting those of you who missed it know: we've reached 2000 dollars in our "Kickstarter":http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1304700212/dubious-company-volume-2 for volume 2. That's 2/3 of the way there (wooo)! As such we've uploaded the initial blue-sketch art for the cover, and our first stretch goal. If you reach 3500 dollars (500 over the initial that we needed to fund) Tria and I will write a short Dubious Company story. But this will take the format of a children's story (Which will obviously not be suitable for children under 13...). Anyway, thanks for all the support so far, and let's keep this "Kickstarter":http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1304700212/dubious-company-volume-2 going!
