We Interrupt the Lack of Rants with Breaking News

The news being: Holky Crap! I’m posting a new rant. I know, I know, I’ve used this joke before. But I think my rants come few and far enough between that it’s still relevant. I would like to apologize for not giving you and APE update though. So, without further ado, here’s the update:

I met up with my buddies over at Mythedge Comics and we spent most of the con meeting and greeting various other comic artists and authors. I’m sorry to say I saw none of you there, but on the plus side, it meant anyone I met was a new and equally awesome person (more awesome people yay!). Additionally we sold several copies of our special comic Dubious Company in The Evil Tower of Evil. This completely blows away our initial estimate of selling…um…zero comics. So overall, good times were had by all.

Oh, that reminds me, if you want to view The Evil Tower of Evil, it’s being displayed over at Mythedge Comics. They update every Wednesday until the comic finishes (it’s only 15 pages long). You can also purchase the comic from them, and part of the money goes to Tria and I! So we can stop eating dirt for dinner! Yay! Currently, we’re going to keep the comic over at Mythedge Comics, at least until we find a proper space for it over here on the main site. Plus you should visit them anyway, they have a lot of awesome stuff.

On that note, we are getting ready for a site redesign. Yeah, remember that thing Tria and I talked about like…2 years ago, then completely forgot about, then couldn’t find a proper programmer to actually do the site change, then didn’t have any money to pay people with, then had to fight off that army of Zythsises. Yeah, that thing, we’re finally getting that done. Our awesome new admin Greg has been working his fingers off to get the site changed up for us. If you couldn’t tell from our comic today (Dec. 7, 2010) we’re juuuuuuust about ready to make the switch over. There’s still a few bugs to work out, but I think we’re, for the most part, good to go. So, in about a week, expect everything to change.
