Don't Panic

Well, we’ve been gone for a bit haven’t we? During the worst time of year to do it too. I can’t believe it, the site was down for International Talk Like a Pirate Day. Honestly, I’m not entirely sure what happened. Tim managed to get on the problem and have it fixed with…minimal work, but I’m sadly not well versed in technospeak (I can do technobabble though) so I’ve only a vague idea of what happened.

From what I can tell. Dreamhost (the company that provides our server/bandwidth/site registration) upgraded some software. Sadly our site wasn’t compatable with this upgrade. What we’re completely confused about (at least I am) is the fact that the upgrade occured a couple of weeks ago. But, I’m not going to think about it too hard, the site’s back up and that’s all I care about.

So to all of you who are returning: thank you for sticking with us and checking back to make sure we hadn’t really left. And to those who are coming here for the first time: nevermind, everything is ok, the site’s fine, nothing happened, keep reading the comic.
